If you had a magic wand and could alter any part of your past, would you do it? Why or why not?

No. Absolutely not!

I wouldn’t change a thing! Why? Because, plain and simple, I love my life.

I have two beautiful children, a husband I adore and adores me and I have amazing, supportive friends. I’m a national speaker, a successful business owner, the producer and host of a radio show, 3 Steps Forward, and I’m a published author. I never would have imagined this future for myself, but now that it’s here, I can’t imagine living any other way!

My past has made me who I am now. Rest assured, I don’t want to live my life again! And, I certainly wouldn’t wish my experiences on anyone. However, with that being said, I don’t regret or begrudge those experiences…not anymore.

In coming full circle, my life now makes sense. In overcoming my past, I am in a place where I can be an inspiration to others. I have been given the gift to be able to give hope to others just as others had given hope to me.

Overwhelmingly, this answer is remarkably similar to the women that I interviewed…

What about you? Have you come to a place of peace about your past experiences or are you still clinging to the pain of the past?

July 21, 2019 I remember the very first time I turned the camera on myself. It was 2008. I had purchased a "Flip" camcorder (anyone remember those?). The moment I pressed record and that little light turned red, I froze. What the hell was I supposed to say? I felt so...
